Failure is a very sensitive subject matter for many. We often connect failure with our life which brings anxiety, misery, and the feeling of “I’m not good enough”.
Do you ever feel this way?
I know, I did until I realized something very cool thing about failure.
And that is; a failure is an event, not a person.
Saying, “I am a failure” is like saying,
“I am a supercar with no gas and a flat tire!”🙄
Not a great analogy? Let me try again…
Failure is not you, me, a thing, or any person; it’s simply an event that happened in order to accomplish something. We get tied up with the end result so much that if it doesn’t happen the way we expect, we think we’ve failed.
What happens if you do things for the enjoyment of the process, and not for the outcome?
You cannot control the end result, but you certainly can choose to enjoy the process. And if you fail, you can start all over again from the new learning you got from that process, and implement it n the next run.
Failure helps you to tap into your potential.
Failure opens doors to new possibilities.
Failure got you to where you are.
