3 Tricks To Get Everyone To Like You!
After ages, I bought new sneakers. I don’t usually shop much but then, I was like, what the hell… 😬
Subject line: “3 Tricks To Get Everyone To Like you!”
The reason you clicked on it is because of the subject line which basically talks about “the want” not “the need”
You want people to like you, don’t you? But you don’t need it for your survival, right? But why does “the want” become so powerful for us humans that it easily swaps to become “the need” instead?
And you fall prey to this as if you can’t live without it.
The want has great control over human behavior and patterns. This means your limbic brain which gets you to do whatever the hell it wants from you. Like, I bought a new pair of sneakers. Did I need them? No.
But the desire to buy them because they looked nice, and build my social status urged me to make that purchase. Not a good enough reason to buy, isn’t it?
On the other hand, I could try to give a logical explanation that I really needed them as my old shoes were torn and winter is coming so I had to make that purchase.
It’s a lie.
Which you and I say every time when a want takes over the need and we try to justify it.
